Liminality: The condition of being on a threshold or at the beginning of a process.

The work explores the threshold between the conscious and the unconscious and examines the relationship between ‘self’ and other. Process and rites of passage are explored through repetition and spontaneous acts. The metaphors of alchemical formulae as spiritual philosophies are introduced through experimentation and exploration.

This piece is one in a series of work employing Live Art to explore the vicissitudes of performance, the unconscious and the boundaries between abstract and physical spaces.
